Another feature on the air jordans 1 mid shoe is the graphic reading "19852017" printed on the inner collar that pays homage to the original Air Jordan 1 release year as well as the launch of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High Flyknit respectively. Now for their latest creation, Jordan Brand has finally given the Air Jordan 1 a Nike Flyknit upper. Just like the Air Jordan 1, Flyknit has become a classic staple in the footwear industry in its own way. Flyknit made its debut back in 2012, technology has continually evolved since then and in the Air Jordan 1 Retro High Flyknit woven construction allows for a classic look while maximizing flexibility and ventilation. Honoring the silhouette's heritage, Jordan Brand pairs the Flyknit woven construction air jordan 1 off white with premium leather hits placed in areas such as the Swoosh, Wings branding, the Nike Air branded tongue and the insoles. This Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Clay Green is one of four colorways that is styled in the same theme like the AJ 1 Black Toe. Basically covered in a mixture of summit white, black and clay green hues throughout, the sneaker is made of a mixture of leather and nubuck overlays used for the swooshes and heel area. Finally, a white midsole and clay green rubber outsole completes the design altogether. ’žOf all the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG colorways we've seen, this latest rendition is perhaps one of the most toned down but aggressive versions out there. The sneaker comes equipped with a Black leather base, using both cracked and smooth leather, with matching Black laces and detailing. The design also includes a gum outsole and OG Gold branding on the tongue.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Black Phantom comes dressed in a Sail, Black, Phantom, and University Red color scheme. As of right now, now images of the shoes have leaked but a couple a sneaker leakers have made renderings of the release showing what they think the shoe may end up looking like. The latest rendering of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Black Phantom is done air jordan retro 1 high og by Jayzrdead and can be seen above. Last seen in 2013, the Air Jordan 1 Black Toe features a White leather upper with Black and Varsity Red overlays to complete the Chicago Bulls colorway.
